Rather than trying to manage a symptom, we work together to heal the underlying pain that causes it from the inside.
Rather than trying to change our loved ones to make us happier, we can heal the relationship fractures and learn to engage in courageous communication with each other.
We can’t change the past, but we can chose to heal it. You can learn to make conscious choices to live connected to your values and your loved ones in a genuine and authentic way.
Both! I see clients in-person at my office in Roanoke, VA.
I also offer telehealth services for those who would like an online alternative. Our telehealth sessions are conducted via a HIPAA certified online platform to ensure they are confidential and secure.

I am out of network with insurance, which means I do not take insurance directly. I can provide you with a superbill so you can submit claims to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Superbills are detailed, itemized invoices that include all the necessary information for you to seek reimbursement from your insurance company for your therapy appointments.
Life happens; I understand that. If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 business hours beforehand. That means for Monday appointments, notice of cancellation must be received by Friday. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session.
I offer a free 15-minute consultation for anyone seeking therapy services. It’s important to ensure that our therapeutic relationship is a good fit for both of us, as this compatibility is crucial for the success of your therapeutic journey.
If you are seeking help for something beyond the scope of my practice, I may refer you to another provider so that you receive the best possible care for your particular needs.
After our consultation call, if we decide to move forward, we will talk about the best time to meet that works for both our schedules. Typically, I reserve a recurring appointment for clients on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Some clients have schedules that change from week to week. We will talk about how to best meet your scheduling needs with the flexibility you need.
You can schedule the free consultation here. I look forward to speaking with you!
The first 1-2 sessions are more question and answer format as I gather important background information so that I can best understand what’s going on for you. After that, I will spend some time summarizing my understanding of your issues and talk about how I can help moving forward.
I usually recommend weekly sessions at first, until you make some progress toward your healing goals. We can always adjust as needed. Progress may be slower with less frequent meetings, but not everyone can meet on a weekly basis.
